In today's society there have been so many lawsuits that one can only shake their head in amazement. For instance remember the MacDonald's’s incident where the customer purchased coffee at the Drive-thru window, and while driving away spilled coffee on themselves and blamed MacDonald's’s because the coffee was too hot and sued them? Excuse me, but I thought it was supposed to be hot! How about the 2nd floor condo neighbors who sued their 1st floor neighbors for second hand smoke traveling from the outside patio up and through the 2nd floor neighbors window. Then if you can believe this one, some thieves, while robbing someone's home, injured themselves and entered a lawsuit suing the homeowner of the house they were robbing. And the list continues on and on. The point is that while some lawsuits are legitimate, many are frivolous. Today you can surely find a lawyer who will take your case no matter what it is; as a matter of fact, they will call you. In the service industry there are very few Cleaning Companies, and no individuals who provide Workers Compensation Insurance for their employees.

Workers Compensation Insurance not only covers the employee, but it also protects the customer against Lawsuits. Please understand that if someone working in your home is hurt, slips, falls, wrenches their back, cuts themselves, etc., if they are not covered by Workers Comp. they might end up owning your home so to speak. It happens every day, LAWSUITS, LAWSUITS, LAWSUITS. The reason most Cleaning Companies and individuals cleaning homes on their own do not carry this insurance is simple, it’s costly. Maid In America pays the cost to insure our employees & provide protection for our customers.
Some homeowners will hire companies or individuals who are not covered by Workers Comp. They think they are saving a few buck$. Remember that famous song, Who’s Sorry Now??? Don’t let it be you. Maid In America with your interest at
